- Greetings. C.K. Volnek here, wife, mom of 3 kids and 4 fur-kids...and author. I'm so excited to have my first MG novel coming out in September, 2011. I hail from the upper plains state of Nebraska, growing up in a small town where they rolled the streets up at 8:00 each night. ;-) But it was a great childhood, giving me lots of freedom to play and explore and develop my thirst for the written word. I hope to meet and greet all of you here on SheWrites!
