Perfect Writing Weather

The sun has been out full force these past few days. But last month around this time, the skies were gray and the air was cold and the clouds insisted on throwing rain and sleet–perfect weather, really, since I had … Continue reading

What She Wants

She wakes early on a Sunday, when she wants to sleep in, and mumbles that an hour and a half of Yoga is asking too much. Still, she moves downstairs in bare feet and loose clothing and quiet. She hopes, … Continue reading

The word “feedback” sends my heart racing in excitement and throws my stomach in a lurch at the same time, a feeling similar to the last time I rode a Ferris wheel.

On the ride up, I giggled in anticipation. When we crested the top and then started our descent, I gripped the safety bar. A few times around on that thing and I started to feel weary,… Continue

Christi, wanted to give you an update on my biography of Stella Adler.  It's in the hands of LA's preeminent literary agents who I was referred to through a friend, but now I'm playing the waiting game.  In the mean time, I launched a blog dedicated to the book.  Will you follow it at http://alifeinartstellaadler.wordpress.com/? Thanks for the support!

Hi, Christi,
Yeah, that having to "friend" everyone is both good and bad. What's your question? If you go visit wrwa.net you can see the newest edition of InkPlots, the e-zine, and the submission guidelines for the print edition. I'm told that membership is not necessary to be included in the e-zine.

Christi, I'm pretty new to Twitter, but I enjoyed the Redbook interview you posted a link to--with Allison Winn Scotch. I loved when she said: "I couldn’t have written Time of My Life, the break-out book of my career, without understanding that resonating bass note of unconditional love that we have for our children..."
