Thank you so much! For the encouragement, and the advice about chickens. We were supposed to have 5 laying hens, but then, well. one was "different than expected."
He's a rooster, I'm pretty sure. I asked a chicken-wise friend, "Do you think maybe he's a man-ish hen?" Her response: "No. Only rooster crow cocka-doodle-do." That, and the tail feathers...
Anyway!
What are you doing now? Where are you writing/painting/creating? My blog began as a gatheirng place for special needs parents, but I read a seperate blogroll, too, for my own inspiration. I've been hoping/thinking/trying to bring the two halves together, as it were. So far, no luck. But it feels like something I might need to do, soon enough...I have no clue, really. I hope someone does. Maybe it's you???
You have such a lovely post about running & motivation on your blog right now. It's beautifully written! Plus, I love the post before it, with the recipe for Thunder Cupcakes. I so have to try those...
Oh, hey! Yes! I thought it was some kind of prerequisite, that the writers all had to have blogs...but I dunno. Things change rather quickly at PD...
For a long time I wondered if I was truly a "blogger." Then my 2-year anniversary came and went and I decided, well, go with it. I can't imagine not having a blog...however good, bad, whatever...I can't think about life without it. I guess that makes me a blogger.
Thank you for your kind words about my writing. I feel the same way about yours. Your art is so evocative...be it images, or words, or paintings, or mixed media...you inspire me.
And? Free-range chickens? Can you tell me about that? I've recently found myself the "mother" of 4 hens and a rooster (the rooster was a surprise, I'm still hoping he's just a man-ish hen, despite all evidence otherwise) and so far, they've been caged. I think they would be happier with more freedom. Any advice?
Thanks for the friend request. I look forward to learning more about your fiction, blogging, etc. Glad to see you've joined some of the great groups here!
I shared a post titled "The Birth of the Diversity Blogs" today. I wanted to share about the various cultures and peoples of the world and I figured that I should make that the theme of my blog. :D Enjoy!
For blogging readers, writers, collectors, reviewers. Please include a link to your blog in your introduction, but please refrain from posting links to blog posts on the wall. We save that for discussion, but welcome blog-post links in the "What You…See More
