The Writer's Oath

Posted on January 22, 2010 at 10:30am 1 Comment

I picked up Gail Carson Levine's book, Writing Magic, last night and wanted to share. I've only been a member of She Writes since yesterday, but I think this explains what you are all doing here and why I'm so excited to join you on this journey.

The Writer's Oath

I promise solemnly:

1. to write as much and as often as I can,

Christine,
I have done Nanowrimo for three years now and this is my fourth novel. November was crazy this year because I was still finishing up this novel which I am pitching (about a young girl with a past who ends up in politics) while trying to write the nano novel which I started mid month! I finished at 11:30 pm, on the last day of the month.
I love the experience and it gets me a hunk of material to rework which I wouldn't have if I didn't have the goal of finishing something in a month. Sarah

Christine,
This will be my first conference so you will have to take my comments with a hunk of salt but I will definately share what I learn.
I will try to post a good run down on my blog when I return and if I am doing well, maybe even during the event.
