Who I am:

Hmmm...single, white, lesbian mother of three daughters of color through adoption and guardianship. Associate Professor of English at Morehouse College (full-time since 1990). Way-lefty. Writer of creative non-fiction and poetry. Published mainly academicky stuff, but not too heady. Hoping to publish non-fiction manuscript about my MID, youngest daughter's second grade year. Activist, especially re public education and the current assault upon it. Enough?
