"Paint By Number: A Memoir of an Artist Finding Her Voice" a 120-page illustrated journey that begins at age 22 and flunking painting in art school. Subsequent chapters describe adventures through Alaska, New Mexico, Arizona and the southeast as I live off the grid, find a mentor, have two sons, divorce, return to school, become a single mom, and return to school again. I aim to inspire other women who want to be (or already are) artists and lead a creative life.
