"I would send an article, or part of one, with a cover letter, in which you explain your "clip," who you are, and the kind of things you're interested in; and, don't type so fast that you make lots of typos!"

Hi All,I'm newbie that is just getting acquinated with the industry, lingo...I actually have a "hook" at a local newspaper, the editor asked me to send a clip (of course I said sure!), and assuming it's just one of my articles? - Who I am:
- I'm a writer, runner, mother, wife, and some days a complete mess. Hence, my blog title The Unnatural Mother. The title came to me a little over eight years ago when my first son was born. I was told that my maternal instincts would kick in as soon as the baby came flying out of my vajayjay, eight years later, a ton of gray hair, and I'm still waiting for those maternal instincts to kick me in the ass!
I write, run (six half marathons, 2 Tri's (1 relay), 2 Du's, 2 Ragnar Relays, and I lost count of the 5 & 10k's!), manage the stress of working full time, spaghetti on the ceiling, a dumped out fish bowl, a lizard, two active boys, being a wife to an incredible husband who busts my chops on a daily basis, all this...leaves me no time to clean my house so instead whipping out the mop, I write about it!
