Hi, everyone! My intro...I'm mom to two funny girls (11 and 6), and I'm a freelance writer. I've been published in magazines and anthologies, and I just received a contract from an agent to represent a co-parenting book that I'm co-authoring with my ex husband. We are the founders of the resource site CoParenting101.org. I am also the co-parenting columnist for TheFasterTimes.com, and I write occasionally for an anti-racist parenting site, LoveIsntEnough.com. I also teach writing locally (Pittsburgh).

Glad to be here!

Can anyone tell me how/where to include a bio on MyPage?

Best,
~Deesha

I love your writing on Anti-Racist Parent! I especially liked your post about talking with your kids about Joni Mitchell. Thanks for sharing your parenting journey with the blogosphere, and for being That One with movies, TV, books... we need more of Those Ones!

My cousin, Em, doesn't see it. She sees a plain face, limp hair, fat rolls, etc. But to me she's beautiful, and maybe I'm biased, but she's the most beautiful woman I've ever known or seen. It's because she's the sister I never had, my sister in Chr…
