The Art of Reveling

The word, revel, just happened to pop into my mind the other day as I sat by the canal, pen in hand and a blank tablet of paper in my lap. Although it has been two years since my Care Bear charge, my mother, has died, it does not take much to bring on some tears intermingled with some smiles. We went through a lot together, my mother and I. Keeping a journal was my safety valve, my notes to myself relative to maintaining some sanity while coping with the dementia that had taken over my mother's…See More

Patience

Posted on October 15, 2011 at 1:30pm 0 Comments

Patience has been tugging at my brain for so many years. Every time that it felt as if I had finally gotten a handle on patience, some new circumstance would occur and I would once again find myself chomping at the bit or pulling at the reins to get my life in some semblance of order right then and there. After working as a crisis screener at a large city mental health crisis unit, I thought that patience had finally settled into its own slot in my character. Not so, however. Impatience…

Hi Doreen!

Thank you for your compliment! Greatly appreciated! I hope the name will eventually have valuable substance/content. I am trying my best. In a way it's quite arrogant from me to present myself as a guru - according to the name of my Blog. But I am always writing everywhere that I am curious student of life - which is true. I don't even think as a guru, because I hate dogmas and always trying to question 'everything I know'. I found this process of 'digging deeper' - fascinating! It keeps me stay objective and liberated with life around.

Thank you for acepting my friendship on SheWrites! Greatly appreciated!

My warmest regards,

Elena Ornig
