Here's my story: In 2003 (I think) I collected all the articles on my website and created an ebook for sale. It was called, "End Verbal Abuse and Save Your Marriage." The title was exactly what the book was about but I couldn't stand it.In 2005 (?) I attended a marketing seminar. They suggested I convert the ebook into a 3-ring binder book, add some other things, call it a course, and re-title it. - Who I am:
- I am a Marriage & Family Therapist specializing in helping couples heal from emotional and verbal abuse.
- Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to, and any scripts or plays I've authored:
- I wrote an ebook in 2004 on this topic and now am converting it into a book to be self-published. I have in the wings a book on parenting, another on relationships with in-laws and a fourth on being assertive. [While in graduate school, I had two papers published in peer-reviewed journals and two books chapters published as well.]
- Media outlets that I currently write for:
- As we have just moved to New York, I currently do not write for media outlets. At one time I edited the health pages of a small paper called The Jewish Star Times in Miami, operated by The Miami Herald. Later on, I was writing for the Florida Jewish News, a short-lived paper. Somehow, someone in then-President G. W. Bush's team found an article I'd written online, liked it, and invited me to the Chanuka Party at the White House!
