I have been a professional writer since 1980, employed by television shows, radio shows, advertising agencies, publishing companies, chambers of commerce, film festivals, and screenwriting conferences.

I was the founder of a national writers organization and have conducted numerous writers conferences and workshops for adults and children. I am also the creator of the Rainbow Writing method and founder/coordinator of First Write™, an annual 24-hour writing marathon that begins at midnight on New Year’s Day.

Additionally, I am a certified color therapist, spiritual aromatherapist, and crystal worker, events organizer, radio show host, radio show producer, and founder of Color Therapy Month in March.

In August 2017, I released "INN LAK'ECH: A Journey to the Realm of Oneness," a YA Visionary Fiction novel about a teenage girl’s spiritual ascension. I have also completed the "INN LAK'ECH" screenplay.

I published "MAD ABOUT HUE: A Memoir in Living Color" in April 2018. In addition to over thirty essays, the book explores the power of color with a bonus section of meditations and exercises.

I am currently working on the prequel and sequel of "INN LAK'ECH," as well as a new YA visionary fiction book, "DORFMAN'S GREATEST BITS."

My writing is also featured in two anthologies: "How I Found the Write Path" and "Simply Color for Everyday Living."
