Rinsed Clean

I arrive at the beach for my run still feeling guilty about leaving Chinook at home. The weight of her perceived sorrow is one step behind me; she is a dog so she will get over it. In fact she may be happily sleeping this very moment. If only forgetting were that easy. New questions skip through my bloodstream like a pebble on still water. Do we really “get over” wrongs that have been done to us? How do we know we are “healed”? The diameter of the rings created by the stone grows wider in my…See More

Who I am:
I am a New England transplant living in SoCal, I enjoy all things outdoors, writing and reading. My first book will celebrate its 3 year anniversary 2/1/14, its debut is the reason I occasionally find myself with a microphone in my hand speaking to groups from non-profit fund raisers to college and high school students.
Mostly I can be found at home where I am embarking on a journey into the world of fiction; writing my second book. I am married, have three kids, 2 still at home...until this fall anyway.
I look forward to connecting with other writers.

Hello Elin!

Thank you for joining my group Blooming Late! I want to personally welcome you to this group of creative ladies.

I want to thank you for such a nice introduction of yourself when you asked to join, I am happy that you found your way to us and I know our group will be enriched for having you among us.

It looks like your writing career is well underway as well and I hope our group will help you further in your goals for the future.

I am so glad you found us and that Facebook was a place you found welcoming with us!

Now, Let me fill you in a bit about the group. There are many great women like you in here from all over the world who are writing for all age groups, genres and are in all levels of writing from beginner to professional, and in all forms of publishing. We come from all walks of life and are as diversified here as the world itself is, but the one thing that is our bond is the desire to see one another do well with our writing in this second half of life and help each other get to the success that each of us defines for ourselves. I am sure you will find there are many places here where you will fit right in.

I want to steer you to our front page where the group wall is and you can introduce yourself, there is also the basic greeting for all members right above that which will give you more help in finding your way around the Blooming Late site a bit better.

Also, you may already know that when you joined SheWrites there were pre-set settings for the groups when it came to receiving emails, you can always adjust them so you do not get everything, however, I would please ask if you could make sure that you are able to get our group emails. I usually email once a month to keep the entire group posted of anything new that went on in the past month. Thank You. :)

AND if there is anything that I can personally do to help you please don't hesitate to ask.

I'm glad you are here and WELCOME to your group.
