Eliza Tilton replied to the discussion 'Questions About Submitting to Agents and Publishers For YA' in the group Writers for Young Adults
"Agreed. Depending on the genre, the word counts vary. Ya Contemporary can be as low as 55,000 while YA fantasy can tip at 100,000. Most agents will say a happy medium for YA is around 70,000. 40,000 is too low though."

Living in a Cable Free Home

Right now my son is watching Sid The Science Kid on Hulu. We got rid of cable when we realized there was no need for it! With the magic of the internet, I wonder how many people have jumped on the cable free wagon. Are you one of them? If so, why?
