"Just seeing this! Wonderful story! I am so excited about your new life in San Francisco. I will very much enjoy sharing your story of your grandfather. Was he recognized for his genius when he was alive? Did he die a pauper like most great artists?…"
Glad to be friends here. I'm not on SheWrites very often. Many of us here moved to Facebook. I even started a group called "A Purely Accidental Writer's Group." We talk to each other about every day.…"
"I think you should pose this question to the Publishing group here. I am a member of that group, and I know there are authors as well as publishers who visit the site. They always seem to give great advice!"
"Wouldn't you have to check with the anthology publishers as well? This dilemma sounds like one I have heard from college students trying to figure out whether they can re-submit papers already written for different classes. Some…"
"Celine, yes, I have chronicled this amazing farm life in my blog posts. Look at http://emilykennedyauthor.com. One essay is called It's Mutual of Omaha's Wild Kingdom Out Here. I talk about the wild vermin we have…"
"Several of my writer friends have two FB pages--one for "open friendships" and the other for book promotion. I only go to the latter when requested by an author to help him/her promote by "Liking." I recognize that…"
"Great Regina! Joshilyn has a new book out, but I have not bought it yet. Just finished backseat saints. It also had a wonderful voice, but the subject matter (physical abuse) made me pause before finishing. Joshilyn said…"
"I have pinned several of my fave books. One author, whom I met at a conference, knew that I loved her cover art. I emailed her and asked permission to pin it. She said, "Sure! Any publicity is great!" Several…"
"Terrific post, Kiana. After today's rejection (of 100 pages), I'm thinking I may look into Amazon before considering self-publishing. I am just becoming weary of the querying & waiting. It's been about long…"
Emily your life is a greek tragedy right now, are you sure you are up to it? I can switch things around so you can do it later on if you would rather, I dont want to put anymore stress on you! I am SO sorry all these aweful things are happening all at the same time! You are amazing for handling all of that! I hope things settle down for you and let me know if you really feel up to it. ((HUGS))
Thanks for keeping up to date on the things going on in our group and guess what, you may be up a week earlier for your guestblogger post, as of now I have not had a confirmation from next weeks person and if I dont by friday night then she is skipped, making Juliet next who is right before you! That would put you Wednesday as the 26th-I will let you know if that changes of course but I am giving you a heads up with your question to give you time. Make sure you check out other peoples posts if you are worried about things.
Your question is- Of everything you have written thus far what was the hardest for you personally and why?
You may want to go back to the discussion and reread the guidelines and now I am just taking your post in an email and pasting it in for everyone as Blogger is not cooperative-so PLEASE confirm with me that you will be able to do it as well as send your post when it is done to email@example.com
AND would you like me to add the pic on here for it or you could give me another with your post-its up to you.
HI Emily! I am just outside of Nashville in the northwest corner. Have been here a couple of years. Moved from the coast of South Carolina. Thanks for reaching out! Good to know I have a kindred spirit nearby. Bren
I meet my writing mentor at the B&N in Bridegstreet all the time. Actually, I am very familiar with every B&N in town because I'm kinda hooked on Starbuck's caramel macciato :-) Let me know when you're in town. You can email me directly at firstname.lastname@example.org. I don't know any of the Stanley family but I've heard of Stanley Construction. Karen has blown past most people, myself included. My brain could only take so much.. Talk to you soon!
