Erin,

With apologies for being tardy with my welcome, we're delighted to have you in the novelist group!

You might introduce yourself by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion if you're not too uncomfortable talking about what you're working on. We save the wall for discussion, so please refrain from linking to blog posts there, but do add them in the “Links to Helpful Blog Posts for Writers” discussion thread.

And we do a live chat every Wednesday at 1EST; instructions on how to participate if you haven't done so already are in the "Our Water Cooler Wednesdays" box near the top of the group page.

Novelist Group Moderator
Bestselling Author of The Four Ms. Bradwells, The Wednesday Sisters, and The Language of Light, a finalist for Barbara Kingsolver's Bellwether Prize

So glad you've joined ”Why Do You Write & What Is Your Process?”
We have a wonderful group of members. I encourage you to read their profiles and visit my blog that lists the essays members have offered in answering the question that is the name of our group.
I encourage you to consider submitting an essay where you answer the question.
This is a great way to introduce yourself and a good promotional opportunity.
I also post the essay and picture (yours) on my personal blog.
To be featured forward your essay and picture to: nepadfwriter@yahoo.com
Again, I am glad to have you joined us and hope your time here will provide encouragement and helpful information about writing, publishing and all that good stuff.
Take care.

Hi Erin,

Welcome to the Southern Writers Group. We're pleased to have you join us. Be sure and go over and introduce yourself to the group. A good place to start is at co-admin, Zetta Brown's discussion, Roll Call. Dera Williams also just started a discussion that will be ongoing about southern writers conferences and retreats. Anyone may start a discussion so if you have something on your mind re being a southern writer jump in! Best, Nicky
