The online critique group is geared more for writers with finished first drafts, so not sure if it will be the right fit for you, but lets see how it goes. I suggest that you come join us in the Children's Writers Group and you can get some great info and connect with other kid lit writers. And also ask a ton of questions as many are active members of SCBWI and have a lot of experience up our sleeves.

This just broke my heart. I have so much respect for what you do.
It's so hard, because everyone (especially children) behaves a certain way for a reason - but when they're irritable and grumpy it's hard not to let that affect your behavior.
