I am Canadian by birth, have lived and worked in Canada, the US, the UK and now Australia. I currently reside in Brisbane, Australia. I have three grown children who no longer live at home and I share my space with two relentlessly curious cats and one very busy puppy! I work with children and young people with disabilities, who have extreme or complex behaviour problems, which often intersect with complex trauma and attachment problems. I also undertake contract work in the area of specialist fostering assessment, provide clinical supervision to child and family welfare professionals and work directly with my own clients. I'm currently undertaking a graduate research degree, with family estrangement and complex trauma as my area of research interest.
