- Who I am:
- I'm a 1998 graduate of the University of Montana with a Bachelor of Arts in English. I also studied Journalism and Creative Writing at the University of Oregon from 1992 to 1995. In 1994, I was awarded placement in the Kidd Tutorial Creative Writing Program at U of O, directed by Mr. Chang Rae-Lee. In 2001, I moved to Los Angeles, California. I'm currently pursuing my MFA in Creative Writing from Antioch University in Los Angeles. I live in Sherman Oaks with my 12-year-old son, Jacob, and my boyfriend, Kevin. My first published novel, I Am Lucky Bird, was released in August 2011 from New Dawn Publishers in the UK.
