What Inspires Me

I consider myself a person of high ethical and moral values. I value a sense of unity, I see at times the disparity between peoples lies, peoples beliefs in a false sense of purpose a untrue value in perception. I don't particulary belive that people are realizing what are loose perceptions are doing to us such as people prostituting themselves, I see a false sense of personification that is hurting our country and not in the least helping. I don't see a real sense of value, as in the idea of…See More

Whats New Pussy Cat

I have been attending day classes for the last semester and the one prior, it has been truly a time of serendipitous moves and twists and turns, that defy my life on the emotional plane. I have been a emotional person from as long as I can remember. I have a longing to understand why people feel a certain way, at times I can maneuver conversations dealing with racism, conflict, and other strains on "my" brain. It is really personal, the problems I deal with are many, but I am a optimist at…See More

Why Motherhood Matters

"How perfect and remarkable, I want to cry and have goosebumps all at the same time. It is a miracle, in teaching our children how they are so special, why is that once they reach that age of not wanting to be children, everything changes? The cycle…"

I Have Been Into Reading On Italian American Stories

The stories I am reading are based on actuall experience of immigrants and historical perspective on Italians. Another book I took out from the libirairy is by a writer by the name of Vincenza Scarpacci, she writes about the way of life in Italy before people started to immigrate, as well as what made people leave Italy as well. She writes about where people settled, why they settled in certain places, and the hope they held for their families once they left Italy.

I also have my other books, which are "John Lennon" by Philip North, and "High Lonesome" Collected Stories 1966-2006. They are both excellent, besides reading my local news, which I am a big fan of since I could remember, I guess it spells out I am a hometown type of girl. I like the facts, but a bit of story couldn't hurt. If something else comes to mind, I will keep you posted.

My Lenten Mission

Posted on February 17, 2010 at 2:21pm 0 Comments

I have been secretly hoarding bills, that is what life is like for me, I can keep a secret not because I have to, but it is the way in which I maintain a sense of autonoumy. I can be like a thief in the night, and fox in the hen house all at the same time. I have highly dysfunctional marragie, if you want to call it that, but I actually live with my guy for over 15 years now, combined between some rough spots weve been through, and weve been through them it is closer to 20 years. Yep thats the… Continue

This Is What I Want People To Know About Me

Posted on January 13, 2010 at 5:21pm 2 Comments

I have 4 (now I can say older kids) the youngest is now 17 going on 32, well 18 in early April. I have my life as a house wife, and my passion is that I would be able to pursue the writing. God only knows it is not easy, my age at this time is easily against me. My better half is tired most of the time, so I am not exactly at ease to say that I have the desired support.

Not to feel sorry for myself, for fate having chosen such a weak person to make it's skelton. But I truly feel that I… Continue
