Services I offer to other writers:
I'd like to start offering services, possibly, in 2010. I am thinking of acting as a consultant to professional writers in the midst of large projects, especially fiction.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons:
I'm a member of WOM-BA (Word of Mouth in the Bay Area), a group of women writers in the San Francisco Bay Area. I'm a former member of a wonderful children's book writing and illustrating group in New Haven, CT.
My professional associations:
I taught at Yale University for 11 years, from 1980-1991, and then I taught individual courses at Wesleyan, Bread Loaf School of English, and Yale. Right now I have no affiliation with a university. I'm a member of Authors Guild and SCBWI.
