"Hi Kait!
Thanks for this group! I once told a friend that I would never read romance let alone write it because it was too predictable but then I discovered urban fantasy and afterwards PNR and became enthralled...and now, deep into my first…"
"I once upon a time would say werewolves but after becoming deeply involved in Christine Feehan's Carpathian series I'm definitely leaning toward the Carpathians (an ancient race of blood suckers.)"

Wow, I can't wait for your MC to have an accident, isn't that horrible? :) You're really making me want to read this thing! The book I'm working on right now is called Flower Symbolism for Dummies and I get to go to 17 c New England for that. There's this problematic un-Puritan type woman there who's getting into trouble. Then there's a modern-day MC who is not achieving in life what she thought she wanted to achieve, so we have two women to send on their ways to various adventures . . .
Hi, Ingrid. Glad to be "friends." I just put up a discussion on the spec fic site. Doesn't seem to be a whole lot of that going on there. Maybe this will help get something started...
I've always been pretty intuitive myself, if not downright psychic. But. I think sometimes it gets me into trouble. Because sometimes you can be wrong and as any shrink will tell you, there's an ass in assumption. So I try to take everything with a grain of salt, even my own perceptions, I guess. I know I sound like a whack-job. sorry!
Sounds positively lovely! And you know damn well it's going to work out just the way it should in the end because you are in complete control. Are writers escapists or control freaks? What the dilio?
Hi Ingrid, Are you writing sexy-vampire books? I see a little vampire chit-chat going on here! Don't you just love how you can create any old little scenario you want when it's just you and the blank page--and no one telling you what to do--and no one stopping you! Makes me drool!
