>I work at B&N and have for over ten years. Have had my book blog for almost two years, and write book reviews for the Naples Daily News. I also do book presentations at libraries. I have an entire pine table at my store devoted to the books I promote. I Promote only books I personally have read and love.

Booksellers are among my favorite people in the world. (And your name - Jean Lewis - is also the name of one of my best friends from high school, although I KNOW she is not a bookseller from Naples, or even living in Florida.)

>Feeling a bit overwhelmed.

Oh, please don't! Very easy and friendly here. I'll look forward to connecting with you in Publishing Industry news.

You might also like to join us in the blogging about books and writing group. It's smaller - so maybe less intimidating? There's also a very big blogger group, which I participate it, but I do find it a bit overwhelming.

"Beautiful essay, Sarah!  My own contact with some of the best books ever written took place mostly before I was 24 years old.  Maybe I'll give some of those classics another try."
