When I started writing my novel, I knew my vision for the story wasn't just a book. I had an album, videos, even a movie in my head as I wrote.
Ambitious? Arrogant? Maybe but during all of my creative endeavors, it's not really "my call". I feel I have to serve the story, the vision and no matter how long or how much work, it's my responsibility to get it done.

It just sort of hit me about a day after I signed my contract. Wow. I'm an author, a published one at that!
How'd this all come about?
I remember when I started the blog, "Josephine the Outlaw King". It literally seemed to come out of nowhere.
I'm a songwriter you see, and keeping a diary, blogging, anything that could be a creative recording of my life would seem redundant. That's what songs were for.
