Who I am:
I'm a 20-something poet, essayist, blogger, political reporter, big-thought-thinker, and (most recently) world wanderer. My natural habitat is a writing workshop where I can collaborate on and discuss poems and shorts by other writers as well as receive helpful comments/critiques from others. I love discussing theories and new ideas in an academic/free-thinking environment. I'm also a reporter for hire/freelance and one helluva hands-on, paragraph-slashing editor. My personal interests range from learning Korean, pretending to Speak French, drunk knitting, critical theory, and women's reproductive rights.

Hi Jennifer, I just saw this reply.  I get lost on these pages at times!  Sounds like you have a great topic in Korea and your experiences there.  And a writing group really helps.  You'll definitely recognize some places in the memoir.  Am writing a mystery set in Davis too (it's given a pseudonym).  But there are tons of Davis dining sites and geography.  I've found writing about this really, really fun.
