"Hi Judith. Thanks for the welcome. Right now, I'm just blogging about my life in transition after university and my travels here in Korea. Most of my energy before that went into political journalism, which was a whirlwind education. I started…"
I'm a 20-something poet, essayist, blogger, political reporter, big-thought-thinker, and (most recently) world wanderer. My natural habitat is a writing workshop where I can collaborate on and discuss poems and shorts by other writers as well as receive helpful comments/critiques from others. I love discussing theories and new ideas in an academic/free-thinking environment. I'm also a reporter for hire/freelance and one helluva hands-on, paragraph-slashing editor. My personal interests range from learning Korean, pretending to Speak French, drunk knitting, critical theory, and women's reproductive rights.

Hi Jennifer, I just saw this reply. I get lost on these pages at times! Sounds like you have a great topic in Korea and your experiences there. And a writing group really helps. You'll definitely recognize some places in the memoir. Am writing a mystery set in Davis too (it's given a pseudonym). But there are tons of Davis dining sites and geography. I've found writing about this really, really fun.
Hi and let me be one of the first to welcome you to Shewrites. This is a terrific site, tons of resources and innovative info. As my own bonus, you have access to my teaching site and free teachings on memoir. Just click here and sign up. No spam, I promise. Just great teaching tips. Enjoy! XO Jennifer
