Who am I
I am a literary and visual artist living in Northern California.
My site, blog, or Twitter handle are
Books I've written, anthologies I've contributed to and any scripts or plays I've authored
My newest book is Blooming In Winter and available on Amazon books.
My prose is published in the Dog With the Old Soul and my poetry has found homes in publications around the world. "I am the Creek, a poem," is part of a site-specific-sculpture, Open Circle, in Sacramento, CA. I just did readings at Cosumnes River College and Nello Olivo Wine Cellar.
My professional associations
I am a board member of the Sacramento Poetry Center. I am a member of Verge Center for the Arts and the Crocker Art Museum.
Services I offer to other writers
I am the editor of the Sable and Quill and curator of an art show and reading of writers who are also visual artists. I sometimes teach art and writing workshops and have taught college. I have taught in libraries and schools with grants. I worked for the Sacramento Poetry Center's 2016 Writer's Conference. We will be co-sponsoring Dan Gioia, the Poet Laureate of California in a reading at the Crocker Art Museum. The center is always looking for poets around the world to feature. I am looking for writers to interview for my blog.
Besides these activities, my focus is on my own writing and promoting my new book,
Blooming In Winter. I have a historical novel, The French Princess (working title) that I would like to place with a publisher and a short story collection, River Bottom Dragon.
I'm part of these writers' groups or salons
I participate in several informal salons.
I found out about She Writes from
An Andrea Ross post.
