Hi, Jillian:  I love your name, and what you are doing is amazing.  I am a freshman at age 65, because I wrote about my life of overcoming and won a scholarship.

www.soulpoetry.org is the site for my poetry, Sanctuary of the Soul (poems of anguish, healing, hope, comfort and celebratioin).  I cannot believe my endorsements: Elie Wiesel, Wayne Dyer, Nikki Giovanni, Drs. Alice Miller, Larrry Dossey et al. (14 in all).

My memoir:  Ghost Child to Triumph (from a child with no voice, to someone who speaks up against injustice) needs to be edited, but I cannot afford that just yet.

I've been writing to media (Oprah, etc) for over 10 years to try and use my experience and knowledge to make a difference in the world.  I'd like to find someone who would make a documentary about the 1 in 3 women living in silence, fear and shame behind closed doors because of abuse: that is over 52,431,401 women in the U.S. alone, and of course it impacts the children and all of our society.

I would call the documentary:  The Silent Scream

I got a divorce after 36 years of abuse, and am a moderator of an abused survivors' group.  I realize that I need just one catalyst to bring awareness....verbal abuse is rarely recognized nor understood (even therapists miss the dynamics) ...I look forward to your thoughts, comments ideas on how I can use my knowledge out in the world.  Kindest Regards, Alice (over comer and wounded healer)
