Profile Information

Who I am:
I've been an author for about 27 years now-first publishing in nonfiction and have now branched out into fiction. Due to my husband's cancer, I am currently under no contract with agents or publishers.

I just, in the past two months, I have self-published two novels; both suspense genre with one being espionage and the other southern fiction.

The social marketing is overwhelming to this old lady who now blogs at jomurphey@blogspot.com, about writing, tweets as jlmurphey, facebooks as jomurphey/jlmurphey/joleemorriss (the last two are book dedicated pages), linkedIn @jlmurphey , have been a member of the Southeastern Writers Association for 12 years, Compuserve books and writers community forum member for 20 years.

I tend to write three books at a time: 2 fiction and 1. I author suspense, science fiction, southern fiction, action/adventure and nonfiction.
