I write a lot more and try though I might, I can't seem to write one book or concentrate on one project at a time.It always has to be two or three or I can't get started. If anybody else is like this please give a shout out. I'd hate to be the only one.

I promised myself that I'd get my booklet to the printer last Saturday, but this writing business actually takes longer than originally imagined. Whenever I get one set of revisions done and then return to proofread the manuscript, there seems to be another set of revisions that I need to make. It's an endless round of editing and revising, but that all part of the writing process.

I am working on a booklet, actually two. One concerns women and preventing domestic abuse and the other is a writing guide for beginners. I am in the copy editing stage now, which is pretty time consuming. I have been working on both of them for a while going back and forth between the two. I finally decided to work on one at a time, so that I can get this done. My goal is to complete the women's booklet on preventing domestic abuse by Friday and upload it as an ebook next week.
Evelyn K. Dudley said… Hello Juanita, I just joined SW. Just reading some of the members comments on various subject and ran across what you wrote regarding concentration. I have poems that I just can’t seem to finish. I don’t know about you, but I am somewhat of a perfectionist, and for me, that leads to procrastination. If I can’t get if “perfect”, I’ll leave it alone and move on to something else that’s half done. Go figure. Trust me; you are not the only one! We need more accountability partners in the writing business. I think we should take advantage of the group’s name (She Writes) and make SURE “She Writes”.
