I am guided to believe that I am a Pathfinder; yet to discover more of this through the journey .. I am an emerging poet and spiritual writer. My contemplative lifestyle and simple values provide well for a centredness in writing. My aim is for my work to creatively portray a perception of the times we are in. Working with the small things of life; the ordinary ... I aim to allow a space for Spirit to work. Learning to express my love of people more ... and to grow my words of compassion.

The picture was taken during a hike in Minnewaska State Park in the Hudson Valley of New York --- a place I love. I joined the poetry memorization group because I cannot memorize, even my own work. So thought might get suggestions /ideas from the group. I like the speculative aspects of surreal fiction and the ability to shift reality and allow us a more encompassing view of 'life'. Am retired, a bit of a gypsy, rotate between Upstate NY, Houston, Tx (grandbabies) and Omaha, Nebraska. Used to teach yoga and was a poet in residence in Iowa & Nebraska. I'm writing a novel based in South Africa (where I was born and grew up). Am reading some David Malouf short stories...

I should point out that I'm both an author (co-authored a doctor's memoir that sold at auction on the basis of my proposal) and a literary agent. So, I speak from experience.
