Tania Pryputniewicz said… Judith, wish I still lived close enough to come to the Bay Area event--enjoy! Should be a great evening.
Hi Judith, good to be here, now. Has been so so so busy but have a little air now. Tell me what's up with the event in Berkeley ... did you create a FB event I could post around?
Tania Pryputniewicz said… Thanks for asking Judith. I am teaching Transformative Blogging for women, blogging when I can at Feral Mom, Feral Writer, and in love with making photo-poem micro movies. I've started a series of blogs in support of women bloggers on my main site. I've also just commited myself to taking this year to work on a book based on the blogging courses. A rich and happy writing life, as it sounds like yours continues to be...I am so glad to have made the connection with you. To gritty, pithy writing and all that it offers!

I've been keeping an eye on SheWrites even though I haven't been active, too much going on in my life, and have noticed how well you're doing, Huff Post etc, and how well you're integrated into the doing around here. If the small press that has my book right now doesn't take me on, I will be joining your ranks.
Tracey Barnes Priestley said… Hi Judith. Thanks for the invitation to be friends and my apologies for not responding sooner. There aren't enough hours in the day to do everything I want. Hope this season, and your project, are both moving along at a happy clip for you
Hi Judith, Thanks for connecting! Your memoir sounds very interesting. I'm curious, are you using a book publicist and/or what is your marketing strategy?
My book Shanghai Love is forthcoming this April 2013 and I'm struggling with this part of the puzzle!
Many thanks!

Michele Tracy Berger said… Hi Judith,
Thanks for connecting. We have a lot in common! Would love to email at some point about your experiences in women's studies and all of the changes in academe. Did you ever go to NWSA (I'm currently the VP, it's a different organization than it was when I started attending in 98).
best,
Michele
