Thank you for your kind note. The launch seems to be going well. I won't see sales figures until May, but I've always felt uncomfortable measuring my life by the numbers, so perhaps that's best. I'm receiving many enthusiastic responses from people who seem to actually get something meaningful out of reading the book. What a gift! Happy New Year, Julie, & may you continue inspiring an ever-widening audience in 2011!

Hi Julie,
I moved to Tucson in Dec 09. Loved the 'winter' here, was swimming in my pool in April, am using lots of AC here in July. Miss the history of my writing connections in NJ and NY. Getting to know some writer folks here. Good writing communities here in Tucson.

Me again. I am not terribly techno savy. I would love to include you in my blog as a link (and would love if you did the same). Could you tell me how to do that? Is that what the gadgets do?

How do I find gadgets?

Hi Julie. I felt so bad no one was following I took it off. Could you comment? I will try to figure it out and put it back in. Thanks so much. Let's stay in touch. I would love continued comments and I will do the same for you. I feel I really need the feedback.

I will let you know when the box is back up.

Hi Julie. I loved your blog and story. All of it! It reminds me of when I offered to pet sit when my kids were a bit smaller. No live lizards to feed, but a chance for the kids to have a pet without saddling me with the responsibility forever!

Just asked you to me by friend, and I look forward to getting to know you.

I just started blogging and would love some constructive comments, if/when you have a chance: http://departingthetext.blogspot.com
