CHARACTERS

No matter what genre your fiction falls into, we all have one thing in common, we have to populate our work with people.  This group is for discussing those characters who add life to our novels.

They poked, prodded at her very weaknesses and fears. They were cinematic re-runs of her very darkest fears. They brought out the worst, the decrepit inner workings of the very triggers that caused her to snap. And she was helpless to their powers. Who I am:
I'm not too sure if I should come up with some elaborate paragraph-on-paragraph explanation on what writing is to me and the joys I've come to experience from it, but to be honest I think it wouldn't change the basic facts.

There's nothing more intimate than a lamp on the bedside, snuggling under your covers and curling up with one of your all-time favorite books. You know, the ones that always grab your eye. The ones who reach you on such a purely emotional and mental level that you simply cannot say no to them when they're calling to you from the dusty shelf.

There's also nothing primitive than opening up that notebook and putting old-fashioned pen to paper, unraveling a world of terrors, mysteries, fantasies and romances that defy the very borders of your imagination and creativity.

The rush of my muse is irresistible. The second it grabs me, I can't say no to it until every word is put on that page.

The idea of the world coming to enjoy my literature the way I write it is even more exciting than anything I could have ever dreamed of.

I'm not here to prove myself. I'm just here to write.
