I just got your book! I list our books in the GoodReads giveaways and enter a few myself. I saw the book and it wasn't until after I entered that I looked again and though..."Hey! I've seen her before!" I never thought I'd win one of their giveaways, either! Well, it's just arrived on my doorstep today. :)

Hi Karen, Welcome to the Southern Writers Group. I enjoyed reading your blog and about your book. I've put it on my must read list as I love mysteries and this one looks great. I'm from the Gulf Coast so I probably won't be reading anything anytime soon until some sort of normalcy kicks in. In the meantime please go over and introduce yourself to the group either on the comments page or Zetta's role call discussion. We've got several new activities popping up soon and I can tell you'll be a great addition to the group! Best, Nicky

Welcome to the Novelist – Struggling or Not group, Karen. You might jump in by telling us what you’re working on in the “Show Me Your Novel and I’ll Show You Mine” discussion.

And I'll definitely watch for your anthology. I'm just finishing up a novel for Random House / Ballantine that is in part a mystery, and is set on a (fictional) Chesapeake Bay island. :-)

Best,
Meg

Thanks Julie! I'm excited to be a member of this group. My blog is titled Fiction For Dessert -- short but sweet stories for lovers of fiction. I try to post a short story every two days at the very least and my goal is to offer a platform for writers to present their work as well as promote books, website, blogs, etc. Anyone interested in posting a story can contact me at kcantwell02@comcast.net.

Looking forward to this adventure and the comaraderie!
