hi Kari.  I went back to my blog and for some reason the blog link did not get posted (I added it in in the sign in.  I don't know how to get back in to the comment to add it (I am a kind of dinosaur when it comes to tech/computer/web stuff (one example:  I don't know how to twitter....). So if you know how I could edit it, or just want to add another comment with your blog on it (as I clearly failed) that would be great.

I just wanted to let you know, and I am really sorry about it.  I just an not savy enough on this kind of stuff.

Thanks,

Meryl

Hi Kari.  You responded to a prompt on how you help your kids express their feelings and it was great!  Would you mind copying and pasting it on to my blog post - or, would you mind if I did?

My post is www.departingthetext.blogspot.com

Let me know if you want to post it or if I have your permission to do so.

Thanks,

Meryl Jaffe

Hi Kari,

Here's my problem when someone tells me about their cool past jobs--I love the idea of doing them all. I guess that's a good thing. I've got a passionate curiosity for my subject. :) So I'm trying to think what might be the most underrepresented of your past jobs and I think it might be working for the plastic/reconstructive surgeon. If you would like to email me at suequint (at) gmail(dot)com, I'll put a first round of questions together and we'll play.

Dear Kari -
Of course I remember you! What a treat to find you here!! All the Portland women (even though we don't live in Portland, but you know what I mean) have found their way here! It's amazing! How are you? How is your family? Much love and thanks for thinking of me, Monica
