For nights without number the only sounds I could hear, here in the waters off Isthmus Cove, were my own cries. I cannot say exactly when I began to realize that the living…some of the living could hear me too and that I could hear them. It is always night here for me and I am always in water drifting endlessly but never reaching the…See More

Maybe borrow a page from one of your fav authors: either write a spoof of a book beginning you cherish or rewrite it new.
Or ... She is offered a million dollars by a corporation, the only catch: She has to write a sexy book about the owner of the corporation, in a month. Unfortunately, the guy is horrible and her progress or non-progress is shouted to the world each day via the word-count widget she grows to hate ... LOL Just going also a little crazy with November coming round and my desk so full. :-)

Now, if only I could get all that other work off my table that threatens to still be here in November %-)

Hello Kasey,
I saw your comment for Priscilla and wonder if you mean NaNoWriMo by that contest.
There is a Nano-group on She Writes and, among other things, I found great help there for plotting before the mayhem starts on November 1st.
