Hi Kate, thanks for your welcome message.  It's only now that I am able to spend time in writing - had to focus on my other job for a while.

I am not computer savvy.  I have opened a blog at blogspot.  I'm just wondering why your blogspot looks so original and really  visually interesting, same with the other blogs of the writers here.  Is your blogspot paid for -- is this why you can do so much more than what is just given for free?  Thanks and best regards.

Hi Kate! Nothing like responding 4 months later to a comment you left for me!! I just haven't been back to She Writes very often, but I checked it out last week and entered my take on the 6 Word Memoir Contest. I just now looked at your blog and read about the Operation Beautiful movement. Awesome! Please check out my blog sometime, too. www.beckypovich.blogspot.com Thanks!!

You are correct that She Writes can be overwhelming at first. I had to create a special folder for all the emails to land until I had time to review some of them! I'm slowly going through and beginning to learn how this works. Looks like a great community. Good luck with your blog and your book reviews! Sounds like a fun way to earn a living.

Hi Book Buff Kate,
Thanks for the welcome. I'm sort of standing by as the interested observer, trying to get my bearings. Have read your book blog and like it very much. Even jotted down some titles to check out at my favorite branch library. Of course anything aimed at YA or MG gets my attention as that's primarily the focus of my writing, but I read most anything. Great to meet you.
