A Whole New World?

Just curious if most writers of paranormals are working within the real world, and asking readers to suspend normalcy by buying into one or two paranormal elements ... or are you creating whole new worlds of paranormal activity? :) I find myself a member of the first group, but it's sometimes a fine line to walk. Profile Information

Who I am:
When I'm not chasing my three kids around the house, or shuttling them back and forth from school and sports, I'm a 32-year-old writer of young adult fiction. My first novel, MER, was agented by Janklow and Nesbit Associates, but wasn't sold. I'm currently plugging away at my second novel.
In my former life, I was a journalist and editor at a handful of newspapers in Wisconsin.
