"I would be joyful if the death of this one man would guarantee that terror has died too. But there are no guarantees here."

Rebecca Lane Beittel said… I haven't been on SheWrites much lately. Been busy doing my own "thang" I suppose. I'm curious as to what my SheWrites friends are up to, writing-wise, though. Right now, I'm waiting to hear back from 2 agents who have requested my full manuscript of The Time Minders. I'm still working on Kingdoms of Blood & Magic, but not as diligently as I should, since I've been querying/submitting for the TTM, doing scads of tutoring at my daughters' school and work for our church's youth group. However, what I expect from myself is the big question, and you phrased how I feel perfectly. I have a tiny blog on my page that touches the subject, but nothing compared to the level of intelligence you put into this piece. I loved the "hustlin" and was nodding, talking out loud to my computer screen;)Somehow finding value in my own dreams while fostering the dreams of my family is where I get stuck. Knowing that other women are walking along beside me up that hill...more fun to walk with a partner than alone. Answer to the question, I don't feel I am a Girl Friday because I am struggling to feel like I do atleast one job really well.
