Why Do You Write and What's Your Process

As an author, psychotherapist, wife, and mother who also does abstract paintings and studies her dreams I am incredibly interested in hearing authors discuss what brought them to writing, and the process by which they continue creating.

My memoir, The Next Fifteen Minutes, forthcoming from Behler Publications in September 2011, takes the reader on a wild ride of salvation. My adventures and life as a ski patroller helped me get through a scary diagnosis.

We have a wonderful group of members. I encourage you to read their profiles and visit my blog that lists the essays members have offered in answering the question that is the name of our group.
I encourage you to consider submitting an essay where you answer the question.
This is a great way to introduce yourself and a good promotional opportunity.
