A craftswoman and a historian, I enjoy researching and writing about old herbals, plant-lore and period aromatic recipes as much as I like re-creating them!
I have just completed a collection of stories extracted from seven years of journal entries entitled "Sojourn: Stories of the Spiral to My Self." An enthusiast of the personal narrative, I've kept a journal since the second grade. I've cultivated my love of mythology, symbolism, folklore and fairy tales through my work as both historian and craftswoman of period aromatics.
Please visit www.arabesquearomas.com to see my essays and explorations on the history and craft of aromatics from ancient Egypt to the Elizabethan era. I can also be found on Facebook at Arabesque Aromas.
