Profile Information

Who I am:
I currently work as the Research and Programs Manager with the National Council for Research on Women. On the job, I use writing to prepare research-based fact sheets, policy briefs, background papers, and proposals. I also manage the Council's social media outreach. Which means I get to blog a whole as the managing editor of the Council's blog, The Real Deal (http://www.ncrw.org/ncrwbigfive/?page_id=20). I am exploring the new world of Twitter through NCRW's twitter handle (NCRWorg).

In my spare time, I am preparing to publish my first book--an academic text based on my thesis research on transgender employment experiences. In this process, I have learned the importance of self-promotion and using multi-mediums to spread the news about your book. Looking forward to putting all this new knowledge into practice shortly!
