Who I am:: Lucille Joyner pursued a career as a jazz pianist in New York City. After marrying and having children, she became a single mother and started a piano business. She was speechwriter for the first female mayor in her town and wrote a column in the local newspaper. Her humorous stories are published in The Piano Technicians Guild Journal and the Volvo newsletter. She is semi-retired from the piano business to concentrate on writing.

My grey tabby was brought to my door about a year and a half ago by a young girl who was a student. I don’t know what she was studying, but she had some kind of connection with the Trenton Animal Rescue.
