Kelly Allardyce said… Hi Lanita,
Thank you for your response. I obviously wrote this post in a very dark moment and I am thinking about deleting it from my blog. It doesn't feel right to have it out there. Right now my son is "doing well". He has a place to stay and he is looking for a job. All I can do is hope.
Sorry to hear that you have dealt with this situation with your parents. It is an extremely helpless feeling to watch loved ones hurting themselves.
Merry Christmas to you and yours.
BTW - I loved your "Uterus" post. It made me laugh and that is a very good thing!

Susan Bearman said… Hi, Lanita. First, thanks for subscribing to my blog (Two Kinds of People). I don't know if this answers your questions, but I did not see you listed as a follower, so it would appear that subscribing to a blog in a reader does not have you show up as Google Friend "Follower". However, it does show up in my Feed Subscribers account through Google's Feedburner. When you sign up as a follower directly on my blog, your avatar shows up under my list of followers. For example, I have 34 people identified as followers on my blog (I just added this feature recently), but 128 people have subscribe to my feedburner feed. I hope this helps answer your question. Again, thanks for reading.
