THE BUCKET LIST

Sunday, August 29, 2010THE BUCKET LISTA few weeks ago while blog-surfing (it's amazing, the blogs that are out there in cyberspace) I came upon one where the author, a woman, had made one entitled "100 Things I Want To Do Before I Die," or, in essence, a Bucket List. I wish I could find that blog to read it again; anyway, I filed away in my head the notion that I should make my own Bucket List; it might be inspiring, it might be revealing, and it might be a good post for my own blog when it's…See More

GONE, BUT NOT FORGOTTEN

Remember Rod Serling's introduction to "The Twilight Zone?" "There is a fifth dimension beyond that which is known to man. It is a dimension as vast as space and as timeless as infinity. It is the middle ground between light and shadow, between science and superstition, and it lies between the pit of man's fears and the summit of his knowledge. This is the dimension of imagination. It is an area which we call the Twilight Zone." I, however, call this area "My House." Because this fifth…See More

BORDER WARS

I live in Connecticut. I'm a W.A.S.P. I don’t know from immigrants (though some exotically dark, foreign language-speaking families are beginning to trickle into our little country towns – however whether they are here legally or not doesn’t keep me up nights). I hear what people have to say about the controversial new law in Arizona. I watch what’s happening nationally. I’m only second-generation American myself on my father’s side. I have my opinions. I totally have my opinions.Yesterday,…See More

CLEAN UP YOUR ACT

Have you ever noticed how some people always look dirty and some people look clean? I was just looking at a photo of Angelina Jolie, who in millions of opinions, including mine, is an absolute knockout. She is freaking gorgeous. Always has been. Maybe even more so now than ever. Every feature blows me away, and she's a hell of an actor. But she has this slightly smelly look about her. Not to say it isn't becoming; sometimes dirty can be sexy. A little greasy, a little soiled from the night…See More

BOOTY CALL?

My family has always provided me with plenty of amusing things to write about. ("Thurber-esque," a friend termed them.) This may top all.My mother, Mildred, who sleeps in a double bed downstairs, had a dream the other night that my friend Jonathan was in bed with her. I have known Jonathan for about thirty years. I found nothing perverse about my mother's dream; they weren't DOING anything, and as a matter of fact she said they were lying there just tossing and turning waiting for me because I…See More

THIS POST NEEDS A TITLE (any suggestions? Romancing the Feet? Purple People-Eater?)

I have always championed the existence of unicorns. I did not expect that I would one day become one. It started with a little rough patch three or four inches up from my eyebrows. I felt it a couple of months ago when I was moussing or gelling or spiking or doing some other unnecessary stuff to my hair; I figured I had hit my head on something but didn't remember (not an unlikely scenario). The other day, though, it finally registered that this thing should be healed by now, not getting…See More

Funny Women

I want to encourage women to submit to humor venues. I urge you; I implore you. Let’s start a revolution and change the world’s mind about who’s funny. Your heart will swell with accomplishment and your breasts will become larger. This I promise.

Hi Laurie:

From what I gather about setting up a FB for your blogs, you may have to create another FB in addition to your first one. But you may need to use or create another e-mail account.

Hope I was able to help. Best of luck to you.

Laurie, You write: "..using Blogger, haven't found a way to denote "Older Posts" on my template, so there appears to be no way to access them. I tried changing my template settings to allow 50 (!) "recent" posts, but it stops far short of that."

If you wish to access older posts yourself (to edit, get URL per post or delete) you go to the tab "Posting" when you hit "edit posts" you'll see all of your posts.
See for more detailed answer the bloggers group page at SW.
