A cross between Dr. Dolittle, Nanny McPhee, and a type-A Buddhist, I'm an active listener, observer of details, payer of attention, reader and writer of books, kindness enthusiast, and an unabashed optimist.

I'm a former holistic health practitioner and transformational life coach. My doctorate is in holistic health with an emphasis in energy medicine. My first two books, Note to Self and The Business of Being are nonfiction. They're designed to motivate, inspire, and transform.

My current work in progress is a suspense/thriller series that takes place at a writing retreat in Washington state. It's designed to deliver a ticking time-bomb of simmering tension with no downtime for the reader.

I live in the Pacific Northwest with my pilot-husband, Len, and our Irish Wolfhound, Willa. I enjoy yoga, long walks, bicycling, and photography. I love laughter, reading, and travel.
