Play Me A Life (Poem)

Posted on February 21, 2013 at 6:17pm 0 Comments

Life is a melody, so drop me that beat
Give me that song with people to meet
I'll play them a life that once was mine
And atop that stage, they will watch me shine
I know I'm me, unique and bright
Until my life goes out like a light
It'll be sudden, it'll be quick
But my life is magical, and death my greatest trick
I live it loud whilst I still can
And embrace my long life span.

Hi ladies...

I regret to inform you that time is not being the nicest with me these days, and work is starting its usual pile-up...I can't start the magazine yet, but I thank each and every one of you that contacted me with such admirable interest in joining this project.  I will let you know the moment it's ready again, but that time is undetermined at the moment.  Thank you again :)

Hi sweet girl, how are you?

I know I have been absent for awhile, as life has a way of getting in the way of the more enjoyable outlets in life, which is certainly the case for me these days.

I have missed chatting with you and wanted to tell you so and just generally check in on you.

I hope this quick note finds you well.  Thoughts of love Rhea Ray.

Leah,
How are you?
I am so missing our regular interaction.
I hope this note finds you well and writing away.
Thank you for the email and the note about Susan.
I have been in the midst of a family crisis with my cousin.
She is in an abusive relationship and just doesn't not have the strength to stand up for herself
and doesn't seem to realize the damage that's being done.
I drove 8 hrs each way (in a snow storm) to get her and her kids last week and she is ready to go back to today.
Breaks my heart.  But it is her life.
Anyway,  I look forward to our chats...
Hope to catch up with you later.
