Lee has had multiple works published in the literary magazine "In the Write Mind" two consecutive years in 1994 and 1995 respectively. She is a member of the Nonfiction Authors Association, was nominated for the Eagle Rare Life Award for her dedication and tireless advocacy work, received the NNPAAW Award in 2012, 2013, 2014, and is a 2016 & 2018 nominee of the Pinnacle Achievement Awards for independent authors. She writes Non-Fiction, Poetry, and Blog Posts.
Lee also has three of her poems published in the book "Silent No More." The book is a compilation of works by survivors from around the world. Silent No More was published in 2011 in the UK with proceeds going to charity.
Lee created and co-hosted Two Nanas at Noon BTR with her best friend Donna Kshir. She is also a former co-host for Dreamcatchers Talk Radio; Michigan’s largest 24-hour child abuse internet radio educational network.
On February 29, 2016, Lee released her first book titled 'Pieces of Me' that shares pieces of her journey through mental illness and abuse recovery giving the reader a glimpse into the struggles she endured.
In 2014 Lee created and mentors the Chapman Wordweavers writing group with her best friend and fellow author Donna Kshir. She is currently researching and working on her personal memoir.
When not helping others or writing, this New England transplant chic lives contentedly with her Service Chihuahua Otis surrounded by the beauty of nature and wildlife in the Panhandle of Florida.
