To answer your question, while it's important to be at as many live chats as possible, you can read the transcript later if you can't make it. The live chats are an opportunity to get feedback from your colleagues on any questions you might have, and they work best if everyone's present to give feedback as well. But if you have to miss one, it's not the end of the world.
