I'm 28, married, and I live in Tennessee. (I'm a transplant. I grew up a military brat. Home is nowhere and everywhere.)
I'm a fiction writer, in the dark fantasy genre. That was my first real love. I'm a wannabe author, for the most part. I have a few small publications under my belt.
It took me a while to recognize, but I do make my living as a writer. I currently work for an e-learning company; my official title is "Instructional Designer" but I'm really more of a content developer/instructional writer. 70-80% of my time is spent developing content in the form of narrative scripts, storyboards, short character development pieces, etc. The other 20-30% is spent doing content and learning analysis, research and miscellaneous. I've gotten to learn a little bit about a lot of things with this job--from DHS services to medical procedures to Iraqi culture; I enjoy it.
I've been a pretty avid blogger for many years. I have more personal, day-to-day journals at LJ and Dreamwidth.
At my writing blog, Chaotically Yours, I write about...writing and all the things that go with the territory: coffee, insomnia, writers' block, muses, character development, coffee, writing prompts, rough drafts, other people's writing, coffee...
Please visit me there to see what I'm writing and if/when/where I'm sending things out (and what's coming of that):
