Dear Loa --

Hi and welcome to She Writes! I am so glad you are here, especially knowing that you are in the midst of applying to Harvard law and trying to find ways to nurture your writerly/poet side at the same time. That can be hard work, and this community is in part dedicated to help women stay connected to the writer-side of themselves even when it's necessary for them to concentrate more fully on other things.

We are doing a Holiday Book Buying drive on Friday the 18th, asking everyone on the network to buy a book written by a woman as a gift (for yourself or someone else), and I'd love to know what your recommendations are! If you have time to post them, let me know.

Warm best,
Kamy (Founder/CEO, She Writes)
